The Ninnekah 4H chapter, which just began this fall is providing students with new opportunities to gain leadership skills and to explore a variety of interesting projects. Students have participated in multiple events and competitions over the past several months. Some Ninnekah students have placed in the top three in their divisions! Age divisions from youngest to oldest are Cloverbuds, Juniors, Intermediates, and Seniors.
Highlights from this year's Grady County 4H events to date:
Decorated Pumpkin Contest
- 2nd Place, Intermediate Small Pumpkin-Kinsey Moore
- Cloverbud participation recognition-Ember Perryman
- Several other students enjoyed participating in this contest for the first time!
Speech Contest
- 2nd Place, Intermediate Team Presentation-Easton Perryman and Kinsey Moore
Food Photo Challenge
- 2nd Place-Gage Keeton
- 3rd Place-Easton Perryman
Cupcake Wars- One team of three students participated by decorating cupcakes to present to judges in a timed event!
