Conner Garrett, eighth grader from Ninnekah Middle School, received a request today to accept a nomination to the Junior High Team Cinch for 2017-2018. Cinch is a national corporate sponsor for both the Wrangler High School Rodeo Association and Wrangler Junior High Rodeo Association. Conner is in his third year of competing at the junior high level and has come up less than points away from qualifying for the Wrangler Junior High National Finals two running. This being his final junior high year, Garrett hopes to qualify for the national trip. Conner competes in the breakaway calf roping, chute doggin', and team roping with partner Brit Duncan of Silo Schools. As well as the Wrangler Association, Conner will be eligible to represent Team Cinch at the International Youth Rodeo sanctioned events.
