Track Meet Experience
Meanwhile, the Junior High Track Team had a great experience at the Madill Track Meet, competing alongside some of the most talented teams in the region. Our athletes rose to the occasion, showcasing their hard work on the track and field.
A standout moment came from the girls' 5/6 grade 4x400 relay team, who secured an impressive 5th place finish amidst intense competition. Their focus and teamwork were evident, setting a strong example of perseverance.
Many of our runners achieved personal bests throughout the meet, reflecting their growth over the season. Whether it was a new record in the 100-meter dash or a faster time in the 200-meter dash, our athletes proved that hard work and dedication pay off. They should all be incredibly proud of the progress they’ve made.
A highlight of the day was Ty Kirk's spectacular performance in the discus event, where he secured a well-deserved second-place finish with a personal best throw. His determination and focus were evident, and finishing second in such a competitive field was a remarkable achievement that brought pride to the whole team.
Looking Ahead
As the season continues, the Junior High Track Team has gained valuable insights from the meet. The personal bests, teamwork, and high level of competition have fueled their determination to continue improving. Keep up the great work, team, and let’s keep pushing each other to be our best! It’s a great time to be a Ninnekah Owl!
