Ninnekah TSA members Areaunna Tucker and Cameron Lagerquist competed in Regionals competitive events and qualified to compete at the State level.
The Technology Student Association, or TSA, held Regional Conferences for both the Eastern and Western Oklahoma Regions on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. This year, all events were held virtually using Zoom.
Areaunna Tucker, a Junior at Ninnekah, competed and placed 5th in Prepared Presentation. She was given a topic with a limited time to prepare a slide show to present to a panel of judges.
Cameron Lagerquist, a Sophomore at Ninnekah, competed and placed 6th in Extemporaneous Speech. He was allowed fifteen minutes to prepare a short speech over a given topic.
This was the first time either student had ever competed in events of these types. Both are looking forward to being able to compete at the State level!
