\r\nDear Parents of Ninnekah Schools Students:
\r\nVerizon has issued a recall in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission for the Verizon Jetpack mobile hot spot devices in use for distance learning. Over the last several weeks, they were made aware that the lithium-ion battery in the hot spots can OVERHEAT POSING A FIRE AND BURN HAZARD!!!!
\r\nWe will be working with Verizon as quickly and efficiently as possible to exchange all devices that were issued to our school.
\r\nPLEASE RETURN THE VERIZON MOBILE HOT SPOT TO THE SCHOOL BY MAY 4TH!!!!!
When not in use, the device should be turned off and unplugged from its power source.
\r\nPlace on flat, solid surface. For proper ventilation, do not use in bed, sofa, chair or soft surfaces.
\r\nNever cover the device up.
\r\nKeep device near room temperature when in use.
\r\nOnly use the charging cable provided.
\r\nDo not insert foreign objects into battery unit.
